Die zwei im Frühstück einfach nur super, toller vegetarischer Style🥳!!!Das Haus einfach fantastisch! Vor allem Tanja die uns immer die Zimmer sauber gemacht hat ein großes Lob!!! Die Dachterrasse einfach nur herrlich. total super dass wir einen Tiefgaragenplatz hatten,großes plus für dieses Hotel!!!Wir kommen gern wieder, vielen Dank für alles! Vera und Mario

Um lugar muito acolhedor e sofisticado, onde tomar um pequeno almoço (ou brunch) delicioso e saudável. Tem a gastronomia apropriada para começar o dia da forma o mais inspiradora possível. O pessoal é de uma amabilidade extraordinária! Muito bom para alguém como eu, que tenho bom apetite de manhã, pois as comidas e as bebidas são variadas e podemos servirmo-nos à discrição.

Können nur empfehlen hier mindestens einmal Frühstücken zu gehen, vor Allem, wenn man auch gerne vegetarisch isst. Es gibt ein sehr leckeres und ausgiebiges Brunch Buffet mit viel Gemüse und vegetarischen Optionen (Fleisch gibt es keins). Auch das Ambiente ist sehr schön und Preis-Leistung passt wirklich perfekt! Wir waren am Abreise Tag hier, auch dafür war es perfekt!

Sehr leckeres, besonderes vegetarisches und veganes Essen! Wir waren in unserm Urlaub 3x da zum Frühstück und einmal etwas später zum Brunch, so gut hat es uns geschmeckt. Jeden Tag gab es ein verschiedenes Angebot und auch einen Teil gleiche Gerichte, alles als all you can eat für 19 Euro :-) Übrigens schöne und leise Hintergrundmusik, alles sehr ruhig und entspannt und saubere Toiletten.

Petit nouveau sur Madère et clairement une belle surprise. Brunch très agréable chez NUA, avec une carte simple mais bien pensée et des produits frais. L’endroit est calme, parfait pour prendre son temps sans la foule des spots déjà connus. Service chaleureux, on sent que c’est encore récent mais ça promet vraiment.
Une adresse à découvrir avant qu’elle ne devienne trop populaire. 👍

Wir haben NUA durch Zufall entdeckt und sind begeistert. Das Café hat eine tolle Atmosphäre und eine unglaublich großartige Auswahl an verschiedenen veganen/vegetarischen und glutenfreien Gerichten. Man merkt sofort dass es mit ganz viel Liebe und Mühe zubereitet wird und man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit bei allen Fragen die man hat. Wir werden wieder kommen!!

Un posticino piccolo ma delizioso!
Difficile da trovare se non grazie a internet o passandoci casualmente davanti. Il locale è curato, il personale cortese e disponibile, il cibo spaziale (sia dolce che salato). Cibo curato nella presentazione e negli ingredienti utilizzati, ampia scelta e prezzo veramente ottimo essendo una sorta di "all you can eat". Consigliatissimo per il brunch!

Tolle Atmosphäre und große Auswahl an Frühstück und Brunch. Ausschließlich vegetarisch und vegan.
Für 19€ ein super Deal, mit Orangensaft, Tee, Kaffee und vielem mehr. Ich kann Nua bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen. Vor allem für Touristen die in Funchal unterkommen macht ein slow morning im Nua absolut Sinn.

BEST vegetarian food on the island! We came for brunch on a Saturday and we loved it. From the variety of beautiful and delicious dishes -- I filled my plate THREE times with all the different offerings they had and was amazed by the quality of all of it. Tip: Take small servings because you're going to want to try it all 😂 I especially was delighted by the aubergine and banana ganoush and the vegetarian ceviche. Besides the taste (all locally sourced), the presentation was lovely and the service was great. On top of that, bottomless drinks on weekends (including mimosas) makes it all so very worth it. Will definitely be back and be bringing all our friends to it!

We had pleasure to find this gem when looking for a late breakfast. To be honest I didnt do any research prior to coming - just like the interior and it was close. And I am so happy we choose it - a great selection of brunch foods that are excellent and also tasty! The people working there were very keen to explain the concept of the place and looked genuinely interested in opinion of the guests. The selection was great and also they bring small portions out - so the food is very fresh at all times. For 19€ for such a buffet I think it’s very reasonable! I recommended this place to several of my friends when being asked and would be back if I come to Madeira again 😊

All day vegetarisch bruch (ontbijt) buffetrestaurant. Vaste prijs voor lekkere broodjes, kaasjes, cakejes, jam, fruit, sapjes, en koffie en thee. Sinds april open, nadat het helemaal omgetoverd is tot een restaurant met sfeervol, moderne uitstraling. Eigenaar is heel aardig en spreekt verschillende talen (waaronder Engels en Frans).

As a Montrealer, I take brunch very seriously, so this buffet-style, farm-to-table experience was a pleasant surprise. Everything was fresh, organic, and beautifully prepared, with an excellent selection of local cheeses and quality ingredients. Unlimited self serving locally produced food to choose from.
The welcome was warm, and the overall atmosphere made for a very enjoyable meal.
One thing I did notice during my time in Madeira is that service can sometimes feel more accommodating toward European visitors than others, which was disappointing to experience in 2026, especially coming from a city as multicultural as Montreal. That said, this establishment stood out for its friendliness.

Adorei a experiência no NUA! O espaço é muito bonito e acolhedor, com um ambiente tranquilo e um serviço extremamente simpático. A comida estava deliciosa, muito bem apresentada e nota-se a qualidade dos ingredientes. Há excelentes opções vegetarianas e vegan, mas é um sítio que recomendo a qualquer pessoa que goste de um bom brunch. Sem dúvida um dos melhores locais para tomar o pequeno-almoço ou brunch no Funchal. Vou voltar!

What a lovely brunch spot! We do have an all inclusive brunch available at our hotel, but we returned from our hike too late and had to find another spot to fill our bellies. What a joy it was to stumble upon Nua for brunch!
We got their unlimited brunch selection and although my photos are not the most beautiful, the food was absolutely delicious! We had an array of options available to us and ordered both poached eggs and an omelet in addition to our brunch. My husband is definitely a meat eater and he was singing the praises of this vegetarian brunch. We both rolled out of there lol 😆 can’t recommend it enough!!

Très bon brunch à Funchal qui mérite le détour. C'est en effet un peu excentré des lieux très fréquentés par les touristes mais on y gagne en calme. Formule buffet à volonté (pas de viande ni de poisson) à 19€. Tout ce que nous avons goûté était excellent, tout est préparé devant nos yeux, ambiance moderne et cosy.

Uma experiência diferente com acesso a um pequeno-almoço buffet, onde se sente a preocupação com a sustentabilidade, a proximidade e o apoio aos produtores locais. Ambiente muito convidativo, calmo, e onde a tempo abranda. Reposição constante do buffet e opções vegan simplesmente deliciosas.

Super acceuil, buffet ou l'on se sert soit même. C'était très bon, plein de choix différents, que des produit de qualité. Les boissons chaudes et jus sont compris dans le prix c'est top vraiment !
Et pour en plus, il y a de la bonne musique !

My colleagues and I had the pleasure of enjoying a most relaxing breakfast at Nua. The large selection of fresh food...estava delicious! My scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly! The huge selection of accompaniments made for an exceptionally tasty experience. My favorite was the Bruschetta - so tasty!This farm to table experience was worth our search. The service was excellent. The music throughout was extraordinary. The vintage jazz made the meal particularly enjoyable. Thank you, Restaurant Nua...this naked experience was superb!.. .did I mention mimosas? Mmm!

Ce restaurant est une pépite. Les plats sont variés, goûteux et très originaux : on y fait des découvertes étonnantes tout en se régalant. Tout est fait maison, en bonne partie sous vos yeux grâce à la cuisine ouverte. Formidable, je recommande.

Ca. 70% des Buffets vegan, der Rest vegetarisch, viel glutenfrei und alles klar gekennzeichnet. Viele vegane Kaffee-Variationen im Buffet für 19€ pro Person inklusive. Personal sehr freundlich, toller Service. Alles sehr lecker, wirklich super!

Wir sind eine Woche im dazugehörigen Hotel im Urlaub und sehr überzeugt von dem fabelhaften Restaurant und Frühstück. Jeden Tag gibt es sehr frische Lebensmittel und eine abwechslungsreiche Auswahl an Obst und Gemüse. Auch warme Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet und schmecken hervorragend. Wir freuen uns jeden Tag aufs Neue auf das Frühstück. Das Ambiente ist spitzenklasse, modern und zeitgleich gemütlich. Das Personal ist durchgehend gut gelaunt und sehr zuvorkommend. Vollste Empfehlung!

We went there on Wednesday and went back on Saturday for a second visit because we’d loved the experience so much – the food was great, the service was excellent, and Luís, the waiter, was very attentive. The venue is incredible, with a great atmosphere and the potential to be a huge success. But when we went back on Saturday to repeat the experience, the cook wasn’t the same as when we first visited. The vegan food that day was bland, lacking in flavour and creativity. Although she insists she’s a ‘chef’, she seems to be from Italy. For this place to really take off, they’ll have to change the cook or let the other lady take over the kitchen, because the food was much better and tastier. It’s a shame, because the place deserves better. But congratulations are in order: the venue is magnificent and unique, and with spectacular service, Luís made us feel right at home.
And we’ll be back, and I hope we have the same experience as the first time and that Luís serves us

The vegan caviar was the highlight! And the coffee was so tasty, went because my vegan partner wanted some nice food and saw this place was rated exclusively 5* and deservedly so! Everything was seasoned perfectly including the scrambled eggs. They took the time to explain to my boyfriend what was vegan (almost everything on offer that day) and the staff were very friendly and warm. All the sweet options were incredibly good also. I had nothing negative to say, except it’s a little out of the way but not difficult to get to at all. Please seek this out!
